All LCTA members are eligible to apply for funding from the LCTA Professional Development (Pro-D) Fund, to participate in either PSA provided Pro-D or other Pro-D workshops. Approval must be received from  the LCTA Pro-D Committee prior to your event/ activity. 

To ensure timely processing, members are encouraged to submit the LCTA Pro-D Application – Page 1 for pre-approval at least three weeks before the activity.

After receiving approval, members must complete LCTA Pro-D Application – Page 2 and include original receipts in order to receive reimbursement.

Please note that Pro-D funds are limited to $500 per year, with a one year roll over allowed to a maximum of $1000 used every second year. Pro-D funds are not expected to cover all costs associated with attending a Pro-D event. Please see the FAQ section below for more information.

LCTA members are encouraged to attend school and LCTA organized events in February and May. Join the Pro-D committee to ensure your input is included in the planning process.
